HUANENG POWER (00902) announced that the company has recently completed the issuance of the HUANENG POWER Limited 2025 Technology Innovation Sustainable Corporate Bond (First Tranche) ("this Bond") for professional investors. The issuance amount of this Bond is RMB 2 billion, with an interest rate of 2.15%. The basic term of this Bond is 10 years, and at the end of the agreed basic term and at the end of each renewal period, the company has the right to exercise the renewal option to extend the term by 1 period or choose to redeem the Bond in full at the end of that period. After deducting the related issuance expenses, the funds raised from this Bond will be used to repay bank loans, corporate bonds, and other debt financing instrument principal and interest.
