XINYI SOLAR (00968) intends to appoint Ernst & Young as its new auditor.

XINYI SOLAR (00968) announced that RSM Hong Kong will retire as the company's auditor, effective from the end of the annual general meeting of shareholders to be held on May 30, 2025. According to the termination of audit appointment letter issued by RSM Hong Kong on April 30, 2025, RSM Hong Kong has indicated that they will not be reappointed as the company's auditor for the financial year ending December 31, 2025, as they could not reach an agreement on the proposed auditor's remuneration for the said financial year. Upon the recommendation of the audit committee, the board of directors has resolved to propose to the shareholders the appointment of Ernst & Young as the company's auditor for the financial year ending December 31, 2025, with the term ending at the conclusion of the next annual general meeting of shareholders. The proposed appointment will be subject to approval by the shareholders at the annual general meeting in the form of an ordinary resolution.
