SINOPHARM (01099) has announced that due to reaching the maximum tenure for Independent Non-executive Directors as stipulated in the company's "Rules of Procedure for Board Meetings", Chen Fangruo has tendered his resignation from the positions of Independent Non-executive Director, member of the Board Nomination Committee, and member of the Board Strategic and Investment Committee to the Board of Directors, effective as of the date when his successor is appointed at the shareholders' meeting in April 25, 2025. On the same day, the Board of Directors resolved to appoint Chen Weiru as an Independent Non-executive Director.
