This year, despite relatively large market fluctuations, private funds' enthusiasm for allocating assets through ETFs has not diminished. Statistics from Simuwang show that as of October 25, 151 private fund managers and their products had appeared among the top ten holders of 207 newly established ETFs during the year, holding a total of 2.325 billion shares. From the perspective of holdings, ETFs themed on Hong Kong stocks and STAR Market were the most favored by private funds. Data show that 42 private fund managers and products invested in 30 newly issued ETFs with names containing "Hong Kong stocks" or "Hang Seng," holding a total of 336 million shares, accounting for 14.45% of the total shares held by private funds in newly issued ETFs. Among them, 13 Hong Kong stock-themed ETFs, including ICBC Hong Kong Stock Connect Healthcare ETF, Bosera Hang Seng Index Hong Kong Stock Connect ETF, and Guolian Hang Seng Hong Kong Stock Connect Technology ETF, each had private fund holdings exceeding 10 million shares.
