Novo Nordisk is open to the idea of upgrading its New York listing, as part of the Danish weight-loss drugmakers efforts to raise its profile in the US, following a similar move by UK rival AstraZeneca earlier this year. Asked whether Novo would consider listing its shares directly on the New York Stock Exchange, replacing its current American Depositary Receipts, chief executive Mike Doustdar said: I do see some advantages of doing that.
