Meta's Chief Strategy Officer Departs to Join AI Inference Startup Fireworks

Meta Chief Strategy Officer Dave Wehner confirmed on Friday that he will leave the company to become CFO of AI inference startup Fireworks. Wehner joined Facebook in 2012 as Vice President of Corporate Finance and Business Planning, was promoted to CFO in 2014, served in that role for more than eight years, and transitioned to Chief Strategy Officer in 2022.
