Analyst: Nasdaq futures rebound slightly, offering little comfort to Asian markets

Title context: Text: After Thursday's "massacre"-style plunge in the Nasdaq index, Nasdaq 100 futures are showing a modest rebound and entering a consolidation phase. The contract is currently up about 0.4%, while S&P 500 E-mini futures are essentially flat. As financial market strategist Mark Cranfield points out, given the extremely deep opening losses in South Korea's KOSPI index and Japan's Nikkei 225 index, this rebound is unlikely to prompt them to reverse their declines. In fact, this seems to have become a pattern: once Asian cash markets open and become the main battleground for selling, Nasdaq futures tend to rebound accordingly.
