OpenAI president says the company is ready for an IPO next year.
OpenAI President Greg Brockman said on Wednesday that most of the company's revenue currently comes from enterprise sales, and he believes the company will be ready to go public in 2027. Brockman said the AI lab has been ramping up enterprise sales to counter the challenge from competitor Anthropic. Anthropic is likely to go public before the end of the year, and OpenAI is aggressively promoting its Codex intelligent agent. The AI executive made the remarks at a tech conference held in Napa, California. When asked whether OpenAI would be ready for an IPO next year, he replied: "I think so."
