India's Petronet LNG in talks with Qatar to introduce US gas sources

Vivek Mittal, Marketing Director of India's Petronet LNG, told analysts on a Tuesday conference call that the company has held discussions with QatarEnergy under the framework of a new long-term agreement effective in 2028, under which Qatar would supply a portion of LNG produced in the United States. Mittal said: "They are willing to consider supplying a portion from other gas sources they have already locked in."
