Zhito Finance APP has learned that OPay, a digital bank and fintech platform in Nigeria and other emerging markets, has suddenly announced the suspension of its U.S. initial public offering (IPO). According to a Form 6-K filed by the company on Monday, OPay decided not to complete this IPO due to a regulatory inquiry initiated in a certain jurisdiction unrelated to the company's business operations. OPay stated that it expects the inquiry to be satisfactorily resolved in the near future, at which point the offering may be restarted within the coming months.
