A magnitude 5.0 earthquake occurred in the Ancash Region of Peru.

According to the Peruvian Institute of Geophysics, at 10:28 a.m. local time on November 2, a magnitude 5.0 earthquake occurred in Huarmey Province, Ancash Region, Peru. The epicenter was located 73 kilometers west of Huarmey, with a focal depth of 30 kilometers. Some residents felt noticeable shaking indoors, and there are currently no reports of casualties.
