In the first 10 months of this year, passenger volume on cross-strait "mini three links" routes exceeded last year's total.

The reporter learned from the Fujian Provincial Department of Transport that in the first 10 months of this year, the four cross-strait "mini three links" passenger routes of XiamenKinmen, QuanzhouKinmen, MaweiMatsu, and HuangqiMatsu operated a total of 10,344 voyages and carried more than 1.98 million passengers, up 3.0% and 25.2% year on year respectively. Among them, more than 1.56 million passengers were Taiwan compatriots, up 34.8% year on year. In the first 10 months of this year, both the total passenger volume and the passenger volume of Taiwan compatriots on the cross-strait "mini three links" passenger routes exceeded the full-year totals for 2025, reflecting growing demand for cross-strait transportation. Among them, the XiamenKinmen route carried more than 1.77 million passengers, up 25.6% year on year; the HuangqiMatsu route carried more than 80,000 passengers, up 49.4% year on year.
