Shanghai: Vegetable prices continued to decline in late October.

Shanghai Development and Reform introduced that in late October, Shanghai's "vegetable basket" overall price index fell 1.2% month-on-month. Among them, the decline in vegetable prices increased; meat, egg, and poultry prices continued their downward trend, with the price indices for meat, poultry, and eggs and for fish and shrimp falling 0.7% and 1.0% month-on-month; the fruit price index fell 0.5% month-on-month; grain and oil prices were mainly stable, with the price index falling 0.1% month-on-month.
