Tan Zuojun Conducts Research at AVIC Group, China Minmetals, and Other Enterprises

Recently, Tan Zuojun, member of the Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, conducted research visits to the headquarters, production workshops, and Southwest engineering project construction sites of enterprise groups such as China National Aviation Holding Group and China Minmetals Corporation. He held discussions and exchanges with grassroots Party branch secretaries and frontline science and technology worker representatives, and delivered special Party lectures to grassroots Party members and representatives of Party activists. Tan Zuojun emphasized that thoroughly studying and implementing the spirit of the Fifth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Party should be regarded as an important political task for the current and upcoming period, and should be combined with studying and implementing Xi Jinping's thought on Party building and Xi Jinping's important thought on doing a good job in talent work in the new era. Based on the actual situation of engineering project construction, we should plan and carry out joint construction and co-building of Party organizations, do a good job in cultivating our own skilled worker teams and technical inheritance, and accelerate the forging of talent teams that can fight tough battles and are good at winning victories. We should summarize and apply the experience of talent cultivation in key fields, comprehensively strengthen the selection, cultivation, retention, and use of aircraft maintenance talent, dare to break through, be good at innovation, actively explore new paths for independent talent cultivation, and ensure that core talent in key positions is firmly in our own hands. We should focus on strengthening the construction of geological exploration talent teams in central enterprises, strengthen tiered talent cultivation, intensify the introduction of high-level talent, deepen the reform of talent development systems and mechanisms, strengthen incentives and guarantees for frontline talent in arduous, dangerous, dirty, and tiring positions, and provide strong talent support for improving mineral exploration capabilities and ensuring the security of national mineral resource supply.
