The National Forestry and Grassland Administration and the Ministry of Emergency Management recently jointly issued the National Forest and Grassland Fire Prevention and Control Plan, making a systematic deployment for forest and grassland fire prevention and control work across the country during the 15th Five-Year Plan period. Through measures such as laying out key fire prevention projects and innovating an integrated governance model of "fire prevention + industry," by 2030 the national average annual forest fire damage rate will be kept within 0.7 per mille, and the grassland fire damage rate will be kept within 1.8 per mille.
