On October 29, Yan Diyong, Party Secretary and Vice President of the China Gold Association, and Zhang Xiaohai, Vice President of the Association and Party Secretary and Chairman of Shandong Gold Group Co., Ltd., held a working consultation in Beijing. The two sides conducted in-depth exchanges and reached consensus on jointly promoting the regular holding of the China International Gold Conference, deepening industry collaboration to resolve development challenges, and advancing the high-quality development of the gold industry. Yan Diyong said that the Association is preparing for the 2026 International Gold Market Conference and Hainan Free Trade Port Gold Industry Development Conference to be held in Haikou in December. The conference will invite relevant Hong Kong institutions to participate, focus on discussions regarding connectivity between the mainland and Hong Kong gold markets, help accelerate the implementation of Hainan Free Trade Port policy dividends, and promote the internationalization of the gold industry. He expressed the hope that both sides will continue to strengthen cooperation in areas such as policy research, organization of major events, and international market expansion, and contribute to safeguarding national strategic resource security and promoting the high-quality development of the gold industry.
