Toyota Motor (TM.US) global sales edged down in September, with China sales falling for an eighth consecutive month.

Zhito Finance APP has learned that Toyota Motor (TM.US) saw a decline in sales in September, mainly due to continued sluggish sales in China. Toyota said in a statement on Thursday that global sales, including those of subsidiary Daihatsu, fell 2.9% year-on-year to 921,847 vehicles; production fell 4.5% to 989,168 vehicles.
