Shanghai: Continue to implement the policy of phasing down the employer contribution rate for employee medical insurance by 1 percentage point.
The General Office of the Shanghai Municipal People's Government issued the "Shanghai Action Plan for Promoting High-Quality Development of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises." Among the measures proposed is reducing labor costs. The policy of a phased 1-percentage-point reduction in the employer contribution rate for employee medical insurance will continue to be implemented. Policies will be implemented for social insurance subsidies for employers hiring college graduates and individuals with employment difficulties, as well as social insurance subsidies for employers during female employees' maternity leave and childbirth leave. The one-time job expansion subsidy policy will be extended. Relying on the employment security platform, combined and concierge-style employment services will be provided to key enterprises with hiring needs.
