Oracle (ORCL.N) expects free cash flow to reach $30 billion in the fiscal year ending May 2029, far above market expectations that it would remain negative; the company also expects total data center capacity to exceed 10 gigawatts by the end of fiscal 2028, and to gradually reduce capital expenditure starting in fiscal 2029. Oracle said new financing needs through May 2030 will be kept within $20 billion, and reiterated its target of $225 billion in total revenue for fiscal 2030. Analyst Anurag Rana believes this plan is expected to ease market concerns about Oracle's heavy AI infrastructure investment over the next two years. Boosted by this, Oracle's stock rose more than 13% at one point during intraday trading.
