The Ninth World Investment Forum opened in Doha, Qatar.

On October 25 local time, the ninth World Investment Forum, co-hosted by the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development and Qatar, opened in Doha, the capital of Qatar. Representatives from governments, international organizations, enterprises and investment institutions gathered in Doha to discuss international investment cooperation and sustainable development amid intensifying global economic uncertainty. The three-day forum, themed "Investing in the Future," focuses on topics including the restructuring of global industrial and supply chains, geopolitical tensions, the financing needs of developing countries, and investment in promoting peace and sustainable development. Participants will also exchange views on strengthening multilateral cooperation, advancing regional economic integration, supporting recovery and reconstruction in conflict-affected areas, and promoting investment in fields such as artificial intelligence and green energy, and explore how to address global economic challenges through international cooperation.
