Amazon CEO: Compute orders booked through 2028

On October 23 local time, Amazon CEO Andy Jassy said in an interview with the U.S. venture capital firm a16z that even with about $220 billion in capital expenditure in 2026, Amazon will still have substantial customer demand it cannot meet. Currently, the main computing capacity of AWS for 2026 has already sold out, most of the capacity for 2027 has been booked, and a considerable portion of the capacity for 2028 has also been committed by customers.
