Drewry's latest report shows that the World Container Index rose 2% this week to $4,585/FEU, mainly driven by higher rates on the trans-Pacific and Asia-Europe routes. On the trans-Pacific route, the Shanghai-Los Angeles rate rose 2% to $8,007/FEU; the Shanghai-New York rate edged up 1% to $10,166/FEU.
