Sudan's leader says he refuses to hold dialogue with the Rapid Support Forces

On October 21 local time, Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, Chairman of Sudan's Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, said that the Sudanese government refuses to hold dialogue and negotiations with the Rapid Support Forces (RSF). In a speech that day, al-Burhan stated that there is no room for dialogue between the Sudanese government and the RSF. The only option for the RSF is to lay down its weapons and surrender; otherwise, it will continue to face military strikes.
