Netflix (NFLX.US) shares fall to 52-week low after lowering full-year revenue guidance; Wall Street analysts divided between optimism and concern.
Zhitong Finance APP has learned that after streaming giant Netflix (NFLX.US) released its third-quarter earnings report, Wall Street analysts showed clear divergence over its growth prospects. Although the company's revenue and profitability continued to improve, revenue growth slowed to its lowest level in three years, and together with slower-than-expected progress in its advertising business and a downward revision to its full-year revenue guidance, this triggered investor concerns about its growth momentum. Netflix shares fell more than 4% in early trading on Tuesday, hitting a 52-week low.
