Sunshine Oilsands (02012.HK): Subsidiary Shenzhen Zhongwang Energy signs energy cooperation agreement with the People's Government of Dong Sifangtai, Anshan, Liaoning

Zhitong Finance APP News, Sunshine Oilsands (02012.HK) announced that on October 20, 2026 (Hong Kong and Calgary, Alberta time), Shenzhen Zhongwang Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (Shenzhen Zhongwang Energy), a subsidiary of Sunshine Oilsands Ltd. (Sunshine or the Company), signed an energy cooperation agreement with the People's Government of Sidangtai, Anshan, Liaoning (Anshan Sidangtai People's Government), with a contract term of 33 years. Under the agreement, Shenzhen Zhongwang Energy will fund the conversion of the government office building's existing coal-fired boilers into clean energy heating using ground-source heat pumps, and the government will pay energy usage fees. The project is Shenzhen Zhongwang Energy's first new energy pilot project in Liaoning, has already commenced construction, and is expected to be completed and delivered for operation by December 20, 2026.
