Relocated schooling in the high-altitude region of Nagqu, Tibet, extends to junior high school.
Since 2004, Nagqu City in Tibet has established four high schools in Lhasa, sending students to study away from home in Lhasa. Recently, Lhasa Nagqu Complete Middle School, Nagqu City's first public six-year continuous complete middle school adopting the off-site schooling model, was officially inaugurated, marking the first time that Nagqu City's high-altitude off-site schooling has covered the junior high school stage. For students whose families are in the cold high-altitude areas of northern Tibet, this means they can enjoy quality educational resources in Lhasa during their junior high school years.
