Nscale in talks with Anthropic for a $45 billion cloud computing deal

Nscale Ltd. is in talks with Anthropic PBC on a computing power supply partnership valued at about $45 billion, according to people familiar with the negotiations. The project, Nscale's second facility at the Monarch data center campus in West Virginia, will provide 460 megawatts of computing capacity powered by Nvidia's advanced Vera Rubin AI chips. The deal could be finalized within days, the people said, and a completed deal would boost Nscale's IPO prospects as the company seeks a valuation of about $30 billion in a listing.
