Two departments: Optimize and adjust export control measures for dredger-related items

Zhitong Finance APP has learned that on October 19, the Ministry of Commerce and the General Administration of Customs issued Announcement No. 51 of 2026, publishing the decision to optimize and adjust export control measures for items related to dredgers. In accordance with relevant regulations, to safeguard national security and interests, and with the approval of the State Council, it has been decided to optimize and adjust export control measures for items related to dredgers, imposing export controls on the following items: 8A901.f.1. Items related to dredger mud pumps; 8A901.f.2. Dredger dragheads; 8A901.f.3. Dredger cutter heads. The announcement will officially take effect on November 18, 2026. The "Export Control List of the People's Republic of China for Dual-Use Items" will be updated accordingly.
