Japanese media poll: Approval rating for Takaichi cabinet falls to new low

The latest opinion poll results released by Japan's Kyodo News on the 18th show that the approval rating of the Takaichi Sanae cabinet has fallen to 49.1%, marking a new low in the agency's polling results since the establishment of the Takaichi cabinet and the first time it has dropped below 50%. The survey was conducted by telephone interview on the 17th and 18th. Compared with last month's survey, the approval rating of the Takaichi cabinet fell by 4.3 percentage points.
