According to a statement released on the evening of the 15th local time by Qasim, Yemen's Minister of Health, a Houthi attack that afternoon on Maasheq Palace in Aden, Yemen's temporary capital, killed 5 people and injured 16 others. The casualties included on-site security personnel and government staff. Qasim noted that this attack once again targeted government institutions, similar to the December 2020 attack on the Yemeni government at Aden International Airport. Yemeni Prime Minister Zindani said the government will continue to perform its duties and maintain contact with the people. Maasheq Palace is the residence of the Yemeni president in the temporary capital Aden and also the office location of the Yemeni government in Aden.
