Zhito Finance APP has learned that Brian Rogers, Vice President of Global Launch Services at Rocket Lab (RKLB.US), stated that the company plans to conduct 12 hypersonic tests this year, highlighting its role in the United States' accelerated development of advanced weapons. Rogers said that HASTE can achieve "low-cost, high-frequency hypersonic and missile defense testing." HASTE is the abbreviation for Hypersonic Accelerator Suborbital Test Electron, a suborbital test launch vehicle derived from Rocket Lab's Electron rocket.
