HK SFC: Leader Education (01449.HK) has a highly concentrated shareholding

Zhito Finance APP News: Leader Education (01449.HK) announced that the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) recently conducted an inquiry into the company's shareholding distribution. The inquiry results showed that as of October 6, 2026, twenty shareholders collectively held 230 million shares of the company, equivalent to 28.74% of the company's issued share capital. Together with 497 million shares (accounting for 62.08% of the issued shares) held by two controlling shareholders and one substantial shareholder of the company, this represents 90.82% of the company's total issued shares as of October 6, 2026. Therefore, only 73.41 million shares (accounting for 9.18% of the issued shares) were held by other shareholders.
