According to Dahe Auto, on October 14, Seres Automobile Co., Ltd. disclosed that it has filed a civil lawsuit against a short-video user who used AI tools to synthesize a false image of an AITO vehicle's body collapsing while driving and posted it online to smear the vehicle's safety performance. The case will be heard on October 23 at the People's Court of Liangjiang New Area, Chongqing. Seres has made four claims, demanding that the other party delete the infringing content, publicly apologize, and pay 1 million yuan in compensation for economic losses, with the defendant also bearing the litigation costs related to the case.
