Nvidia to announce $2 billion in new European AI investment

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said the company plans to announce $2 billion in European AI investments next week, following $8 billion invested over the past year. Nvidia also announced new funding for four French AI startups: healthcare technology company Doctolib, robotics company Genesis AI, business software company Pigment, and chemistry and materials research company Entalpic. Huang urged Europe to accelerate AI development, emphasizing open-source models, technological sovereignty, and robotics. He said: "Europe needs to join this race."
