Ithaca acquires dating app platform Bumble (BMBL.US) for $1.3 billion at a 138% premium to take it private! The stock is soaring again in pre-market trading.

Zhitong Finance APP has learned that the blockbuster news that Bumble (BMBL.US), a well-known U.S. dating app provider, will be taken private has been finalized. According to a statement released on Monday, Ithaca Holdings, founded by Sequoia Capital partner Ravi Gupta and former Meta executive John Hegeman, will take Bumble private for $1.3 billion, corresponding to an acquisition price of $6.05 per share, a 138% premium to Bumble's closing price last Friday.
