Hong Kong SFC: Sponsor working quality has improved somewhat, average workload noticeably eased

Zhito Finance APP has learned that in a circular issued by the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission on October 13, it was noted that sponsor work has improved since January of this year. Specifically, the distribution of sponsor work in the market has become more widespread. The proportion of active listing applications under review handled by the five most active sponsors fell from 77% as of January to 65% as of September. At the same time, the average workload of signing principals has eased. Between January and September, the number of sponsors with overburdened principals, as well as the number of overburdened principals, both decreased by 78%.
