Zhuhai Airshow opens maritime exhibition area for the first time, displaying active-duty naval vessels in static exhibition.

The press conference for the 16th China International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition was held in Beijing, focusing on the preparation progress and highlights of this edition of the airshow. It was introduced at the press conference that the Gaolan Port exhibition area is the first-ever exhibition area opened for this edition of the airshow. The Chinese Navy will rely on the nearly kilometer-long shoreline of Gaolan Port to build an immersive display position for maritime equipment, statically display active-duty warships, and also display equipment such as amphibious armored vehicles on land. During the same period, public welfare open day activities will also be held. The exhibition area will implement online reservation review and be open to the public free of charge, with visitors admitted upon presenting valid identification. China State Shipbuilding Corporation plans to send multiple types of maritime equipment and land equipment, including a new type of 500-ton unmanned surface vessel, to participate in the exhibition, display about 150 or more exhibits in the core area of the main venue, and simultaneously set up a dynamic demonstration area in the Gaolan Port exhibition area, realizing a dual-venue linkage of "indoor static display + outdoor dynamic demonstration."
