AMD today announced the AMD Helion agentic AI rack. This is an open reference architecture for Agent AI infrastructure, designed based on Open Compute Project OCP specifications and built entirely on AMD compute hardware. Helion inherits the open platform approach of the AMD Helios rack-level solution, aiming to provide partners and customers with the flexibility needed to build agentic AI infrastructure. With Helion, customers can flexibly match CPU performance, core density, power consumption, and GPU acceleration resources for AI agent workloads.
