Amazon is in talks to acquire AI startup Decart for $7 billion.

Amazon is in talks to acquire AI startup Decart, in a deal that could value the company at about $7 billion. If the negotiations don't fall apart or another bidder emerges, a deal could be reached soon. According to PitchBook data, Decart has raised more than $400 million in venture funding from investors including Sequoia Capital, Benchmark and Radical Ventures, and was valued at nearly $4 billion in May. The company was founded in 2023 by three Israeli engineers: brothers Dean Leitersdorf and Orian Leitersdorf, and Moshe Shalev. Decart is also developing world models called Lucy and Oasis.
