Dongchedi releases another test video: Multiple models including the Zhijie V9 showed no brake pedal bracket fracture after six braking tests.
October 9 midday news: After the incident in which the brake pedal bracket of the Zunjie V800 was reported to have fractured during testing gained traction, Dongchedi once again released test videos of multiple models including the Zhijie V9. These models underwent six braking tests without any brake pedal bracket fractures. A video previously released by Dongchedi showed that it conducted 100 km/h-0 emergency braking tests on three brand-new Zunjie V800 vehicles. In all three vehicles, the brake pedal bracket physically fractured during the 2nd to 4th heavy braking applications. In the latest video, however, Dongchedi released 100 km/h-0 emergency braking tests of multiple models including the Zhijie V9, Li Auto, Porsche, Avatr, and XPeng. These vehicles all withstood six full-force braking applications, with no damage whatsoever to the brake pedals or brackets.
