As Nvidia (NVDA.O) shares hit a record high for the first time in four months, analysts remain optimistic about the future. The company's stock closed at $237.58 on Monday, setting a new high, with a market capitalization of approximately $5.76 trillion. Wedbush analyst Matt Bryson said that as Nvidia gets closer to achieving future financial expectations, it is "becoming increasingly difficult for the market to ignore" the disconnect between its growth prospects and valuation. He noted that the company is expected to grow at 70%, yet the stock trades at less than 20 times next fiscal year's expected earnings per share, making it appear relatively cheap. Despite facing competition from peers and even its own customers, Nvidia remains "the cornerstone of AI infrastructure," BNP Paribas analyst Karl Ackerman wrote in a report last week. He raised his price target on the stock to $345 per share, which implies 45% upside compared with Monday's closing price.
