About 24,000 employees of Korea Electric Power Corporation had their personal data leaked.

South Korea Electric Power Corporation said on October 4 that the personal information of about 24,000 of its employees had been leaked. The company said the leaked information included employees' names, positions, and phone numbers, but did not include sensitive information such as their resident registration numbers. Korea Electric Power Corporation said it had notified the affected employees and completed the deletion of the leaked information around midnight on Friday. In addition, the company added that customer information stored in a separate system was not leaked.
