The Ministry of Emergency Management holds a video for National Day holiday safety precautions.

On October 3, the Ministry of Emergency Management held a video for National Day holiday safety precautions. Song Xinchun, Director of the National Forest Fire Prevention Command Office, member of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Emergency Management, and Deputy Director of the National Forestry and Grassland Administration, presided. The meeting emphasized the need to conscientiously rectify the problems and hidden dangers discovered during holiday unannounced inspections. During the holiday, the ministry and provinces dispatched a total of more than 4,200 inspection teams, discovering more than 40,300 problems and hidden dangers, basically achieving full coverage at the city and county levels. All localities should draw inferences from the problems found and rectify them promptly. The meeting required all localities to further strengthen risk assessment. In light of holiday weather conditions and reported accidents and disasters, they should conduct rolling assessments of local risks, effectively leverage the functional roles of the offices of the Work Safety Committees and the Disaster Prevention, Mitigation, and Relief Committees, and work with functional departments to take effective measures to defuse risks. They should continue to do a good job in holiday emergency duty work, always maintain an emergency posture, and make every effort to ensure the safety of the public during the holiday.
