Saudi Arabia intercepts missile from Yemen's Houthi armed group; falling debris injures 1 person.
The General Directorate of Civil Defense in Saudi Arabia stated in a statement on the early morning of the 3rd that after a ballistic missile launched by the Yemeni Houthi armed group on the 2nd was intercepted, its debris fell in Ahad Rafidah County in Asir Province in southern Saudi Arabia, injuring one person. The statement also said that the falling debris damaged a building and multiple vehicles. The General Directorate of Civil Defense in Saudi Arabia also stated in a statement on the evening of the 2nd that a projectile launched by the Yemeni Houthi armed group that day landed at a school in Najran city in southwestern Saudi Arabia, causing property damage. Turki Al-Maliki, spokesman for the Saudi-led multinational coalition, said on social media on the 2nd that the multinational coalition that day intercepted and destroyed three ballistic missiles launched by the Yemeni Houthi armed group targeting the southwestern Saudi city of Khamis Mushait.
