The proportion of individual investors in ETF investments continues to expand. According to statistics, among the 48 ETFs newly listed since September, individual investors accounted for more than 80% of shares, with 19 of them having individual investor share proportions exceeding 90%. In terms of investment types, thematic and sector ETFs are the products most favored by individual investors. Taking the 48 ETFs listed in September as an example, 37 had listing shares below 300 million units, while two products had listing shares exceeding 1 billion units. In terms of investment areas, the newly listed ETFs are mainly concentrated in the following three categories: first, ChiNext computing power ETFs; second, technology growth-themed ETFs such as STAR Market chips, STAR Market materials, and cloud computing; third, stable varieties such as dividend, banking, and cash flow ETFs.
