It is reported that McDonald's sold a store in Tsuen Wan, Hong Kong for HK$120 million. The report noted that this 12,251-square-foot property appreciated 14 times over 39 years, with a price of nearly HK$10,000 per square foot. This store opened in 1978 and was McDonald's first branch in the New Territories, Hong Kong. McDonald's purchased the shop for HK$8 million in 1987.
