The Fifth China-France Energy Dialogue was held in Beijing.

On September 29, He Yang, Deputy Administrator of China's National Energy Administration, and Cedric Brie, Director-General of France's General Directorate for Energy and Climate, co-chaired the fifth China-France Energy Dialogue in Beijing. They had a full exchange of views on practical cooperation in areas including civil nuclear energy. Both sides emphasized that China-France energy cooperation started with civil nuclear energy and has gradually expanded to multiple fields such as oil and gas, renewable energy, energy technology innovation, and green and low-carbon transition, forming a cooperation framework featuring complementary advantages, mutual benefit and win-win outcomes, and long-term stability. Both sides are willing to uphold high-level consensus, leverage their respective advantages, tap deeper into cooperation potential, innovate cooperation models, and push China-France energy cooperation to continue to deepen and become more substantive, improve in quality and upgrade, inject new momentum into the sustained and healthy development of the China-France comprehensive strategic partnership, and contribute China-France wisdom and strength to promoting global energy security and green development.
