IDC: China's AI cloud market size reached 68.4 billion yuan in 2025

According to statistics from an International Data Corporation report, driven by the concentrated release of inference demand, enterprise-level MaaS token usage grew about 16-fold in a single year in 2025, pushing China's AI cloud market size to 68.4 billion yuan. Among them, Alibaba held a 29.7% market share, ByteDance 14.7%, followed by Baidu at 8.2% and Huawei at 7.9%. The competitive dimension of AI cloud is shifting from "who can provide resources" to "who can turn resources into deliverable, trustworthy results." According to an IDC survey, when enterprises choose AI cloud infrastructure, the factors they value most are answer quality/model effectiveness, performance, and security compliance.
