Securities firms have issued over 1.6 trillion yuan in bonds during the year, further strengthening their capital base.

Data shows that as of September 28, 74 securities firms had cumulatively issued domestic bonds worth 1.68 trillion yuan during the year, with the scale of bond issuance growing by more than 29% compared with the same period last year. On top of the high base of 1.91 trillion yuan in bond issuance for the full year of 2025, the pace of bond issuance by securities firms in 2026 has further accelerated amid a low interest rate environment.
