World's tallest steel-concrete hybrid tower wind turbine connected to grid for power generation

Today, a reporter learned from China Huadian Corporation that the world's tallest steel-concrete hybrid tower wind turbine unit was successfully connected to the grid for power generation in Xinji, Hebei, marking a new breakthrough in China's ultra-high steel-concrete tower technology, reaching an internationally advanced level. The hub center height of the unit reaches 204 meters, equivalent to a 70-story residential building, and can fully utilize stable, high-quality high-altitude wind resources, lowering the threshold for low-wind-speed wind power development to within 4.5 meters per second.
